As men age, testosterone levels decline. Low testosterone symptoms include a loss of muscle and gain in fat mass, reduced energy and sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, and depression. Low testosterone is treated with testosterone replacement therapy TRT. TRT differs from anabolic steroid usage, in which supraphysiological dosages are taken to raise levels above normal.

Going in for a blood test next week to try and get on some military sponsored testosterone, would love any tips on lowering my levels prior to the test.
I'm in pretty much the same spot as you, my T-level is just above the line, 1 point over. I got so many symptoms of testosterone deficiency but they refuse to even try it on me. But I will do another test soon. Eat lots of these everyday for one week or more before the test: Do NOT sleep the whole night before taking the test.
Do not eat zink or any vitamins for at least a week before doing the test. Try to stay away from meat and fat as much as possible.
If I find some more methods to lower T I'll post again. Why would you want to go on TRT if you don't need it? Its for life, it works if you have a medical need, but you aren't going to get prescribed anywhere near enough for it to be performance enhancing if you already have normal T levels.
Just run a cycle if that is what you are looking for and do proper PCT so you can restart your natty production. So you are going to monkey with your perfectly normal T levels so you can inject exogenous T, which will shut down your natty production, so you can inject yourself for life to have normal T levels you have anyway?
That make no sense. I have lowish t to begin with, I just want a higher dose than I would receive if I didn't monkey with the test. Btw, that isn't how a doctor will figure out your dosing. Exogenous T shuts down your natural production to nothing, so your level pre TRT is immaterial, if you are below what ever arbitrary cut off the doctor you are seeing will treat at you get TRT if not you are SOL or you have to find another doc.
Depending on the doctor you'll get a starting dose based on your size, or based on nothing more than what the doctor has always done or what the Endo Society recommends. Doctors who know what they are doing will start you on mg of Test Cyp a week, or if they really know whats what 50mg 2x a week, then do bloods after 4 weeks and tweak it from there. Low enough to be considered low, but not terribly low. You don't need to monkey with anything.
Those tests are currently being analyzed. I'm just waiting on a call back. What could those end up showing? I'm not sure why they are important if I already show low t.
To determine if you are primary or secondary hypogonadal and then potentially what is causing it. Most people they can't find a cause and you go on trt, or they find a cause and the treatment is trt. Sometimes you get lucky and they can fix it without needing trt for the rest of your life. That and for insurance is why it is important to try to find the cause. You can't be denier coverage when there is an established cause.
If there isn't you always run the risk of insurance denying coverage. They are shitty like that. Tricare means free coverage for me regardless.
