We have given an interview appointment date already which is on December 8 of this year. I'm wondering if I can escort my child, as her biological mother, to enter the United States when she will be issued a US passport? If yes, please let me know the process, that would be a great help. My daughter's american grandmother desperately wanted to see and hold the baby since she's getting old and sick. Me and my boyfriend wanted to wait a little bit longer before we get married and apply for a K-1 visa.
Looking forward on your replies. October 26 - June 5, DOT tx to vaccine administration. Maybe I'm over analyzing things here. No- the child;s grandmother would need to come visit you, or your boyfriend would need to travel to get and bring back the child.
I don't know of any special "escort" visa. You will have to present evidence of very very strong ties to the Philippines to convince the consular officer that you're not going to stay behind in the US. The evidence of strong ties have to be super strong, IMO, as it's likely that the CO is going to consider your ties to the US stronger since your boyfriend is in the US and your daughter will also be going with you to the US which leaves you with no strong family ties to the Philippines.
Thank you for your reply. Is not that I'm not worried about letting my child to stay in US with the man I'm not married into It's just that I consider the fact that my daughter's grandmother is old and is sick, all she asked for Christmas is to meet and hold her grandchild for the very first time. She cannot travel to the Philippines as she is old and ill like I said and my boyfriend is in military, he cannot file for a leave that easy. Could you please help me on how can I travel with my infant to US?
What visa am I elegible for for this situation. What do you think are evidences of strong ties in the Philippines aside from owning properties? I'm 21 years old and a newly graduate of BSN and I'm not employed yet, what proof should I present to establish strong ties to Philippines? Fastest way is for him to file a K-1 petition for you. If he can't leave his post, she can't travel, your baby has a US passport and you don't have incredibly strong ties in the Philippines, then you have a snowball's chance in hell of getting a tourist visa.
